One last update as the funding for my project draws to a close. I am still working out the upgrades on the book with the printer as I have far exceeded my goal. I want to take this time to answer a few questions that I have received as far as size and page count goes. The size of the book will be 8" x 10" and the page count total is 120. I am upgrading to a heavier, higher quality "pearl" paper and have opted to foil emboss the title in silver on the black linen cover underneath the dust jacket. There will be 800 books printed (200 of which are limited editions) instead of the 500 I had originally planned for. Design and layout will take another month or so as well as the completion of the remaining paintings. My deadline to have everything in to the printers is December 20th and I will send out an update once I receive the proof at the end of January. I want to thank everyone out there who has supported this project over the past month as well as the last three years! I am amazed, inspired and extremely grateful.
After a very busy week, I'm finally back to working on the book. This is page 66, "Even The Stars Need A Place To Rest Now And Then". Once again, my sincere thanks to everyone who supported the Kickstarter project last week. Twenty-one more days to go!
My Kickstarter campaign was approved and is now live! Original artwork is listed on the bottom right-hand side and the standard edition book is available with a $40 pledge (shipping is included in the USA). The limited edition (which includes Eluvium's music and a limited edition print) is available with a $70 pledge. There are also a "Wisdom For Debris" t-shirts and several prints in various sizes available. Please click here to view the details. Thanks so much everyone!
I was aiming to launch my Kickstarter today, but I'm still awaiting approval for my book project. I'm hoping to get it up by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. I'll post the link once it is available. If you are signed up for my mailing list I will send out a message as well. Thanks so much everyone!
My Kickstarter campaign begins next week! This painting along with 27 other originals are just a few of the options that I am offering up as rewards for contributions. Thanks again for your interest and for all of the kind words of support I have received in regards to this project. It has been more than two years in the making and although I still have a few more months of work ahead, I am very excited to be so near completion. Please check back next week to take a look at my campaign video or pre-order a copy of the book.
I will be launching my Kickstarter campaign in exactly one month from today! In addition to the campaign, I will be selling several originals from the book to help fund the printing costs. I really appreciate all of the kind words I have received regarding the work completed thus far. Thanks in advance for your support!
